THE BRIEF
The Games Corner is a magazine television program focusing
on new and upcoming video games as well as spotlights on retro gaming. Our section
TARGET AUDIENCE
Local residents of Sheffield, those who are have interest in
gaming as well as its industry and the development behind game productions.
SEGMENT SYNOPSIS AND HOW IT RELATES TO THE BRIEF
Our Production Team will be focusing on coverage of the
Eurogamer Convention 2014, as well as interviews and Vox pops from attendants
and game developers in the Rezzed Indie game section.

The majority of our targeted audience are under 16 and therefore should not be exposed to explicit imagery or language. If content in our segment breaches the guidelines of OFCOM stating that depending on the age rating of the broadcasted show controls the limit of content.

PROPOSED SCHEDULING TIME
Daytime Television - Pre-Watershed Regulations
The Games Corner is scheduled to be shown at midday, before 9pm and therefore the watershed. This limits what content be shown as it may be viewed by children; unsuitable material can include everything from sexual content to violence, graphic or distressing imagery and swearing.
